Commissions
How to request a commission
Similar to most artists, I get asked do I do commissions? The answer, of course, I love them! It’s always a special experience working with clients to come up with a personal sculpture or painting that they can cherish forever, or gift to a friend/ family member <3
Interested in a commission by me, here are a few notes about the process :)
1. Email me at jenedwyer@gmail.com... Let me know what you’re excited about and we can work together to come up with a plan. Even if you don't know exactly what you want yet, feel free to let me know what pieces of mine are sparking your interest and we can bit to generate ideas together. It's been my experience that the best ideas come after conversation, so don't worry if you don’t have a concrete idea yet for exactly what you want.
2. Prices, I have a price list for size and detail for both my ceramic sculptures & paintings. Feel free to email me and I will send you my price list.
3. After I have a sense of what you’re looking for I will do a pencil drawing, once the drawing is approved I will then go over it in pen and transform it into a watercolor. Once the water color is approved I will send the client a pdf invoice for the commission, the client will put down a 50% deposit and using the approve drawing as my blueprint I will begin sculpting or painting your custom work of art!
4. I send progress images of the work as I am sculpting or painting to make sure the client is very happy with their piece.
5. Once the piece is finished, the remaining 50% payment is made, I’ll ship off of the work of art, safe and sound. I'm a full-time artist, and most commissions take me a 2-4 weeks to complete from start to finish. Your piece will always have my full attention and receive all focus and attention to detail it deserves.
Bonus! I always include the framed watercolor drawing with the commission
I’ve included some of my recent commissions, take a look! including a recent boom box Angela that is now the center piece of my clients coffee table, and a bride Venus babe what was a wedding gift.
Commissions Current Status: Open (will close for a while in March 2022)
